Why did you enter The Vale of Glamorgan Business Awards?
We decided to enter the awards because we felt that its important to support the local awards and be recognised as a local business
How did you find the interview process for the awards?
I did feel nervous walking in to see the panel of judges, but they all made me feel at ease, its good to know that you have the opportunity to talk to the judges face to face, and so they can hear your passion about your business.
What did winning mean for you or your business?
Winning the local award was fantastic as we work hard as a team, to be recognised as a good Employer is a great boost and inspires us as a company to continue doing what we are doing.
How did you find the awards ceremony?
The evening was packed with networking of course eating and drinking! we all enjoyed listening about other fantastic company’s that are in the local area.
What’s been a highlight for you or your business over the last year and why?
There have been a few highlights for us at Sparkles this year, of course winning the Employer of the Year award 2023 and that we grow our office team.
What are the business goals for 2024?
We don’t really have a plan, other than to continue to grow and help people into employment, just do what we are doing!
What’s the best thing about running a business in The Vale of Glamorgan?
Being part of the community with the support of friends that we have made over the years, I could not think of a better place to run a business from.
